Otter Beer 'hops' over the Atlantic

Back in 2006 we started sending my American friend, Jim Lientz, the odd crate of Otter Head. Actually it was a 24ft sea container full, but it was not all for him I hasten to add.

His company Tipple Time, in Savannah, Georgia, is now taking a new bottled beer called Hoppy Otter as well. This strong beer at 6.8% has been brewed for the American Market using their recipes and our Great British brewing skills. By UK standards, Hoppy Otter is a massively complex beer and is selling well and getting some rave reviews. In terms of volume, it looks to match the four containers of Head that annually float across the pond.

In the States Otter Head won 'Best beer in the World' - at a competition in Montana (wow!). OK - we know there are loads of them, but to get one is great!
