Sheppy’s is family run with a massive emphasis on making a quality local product from local ingredients – in this case their own apples grown in their own Somerset orchards. Based just outside Taunton, it’s a prefect fit for us as David & Louisa run their business in a very similar way to Otter. The consistency is spot on and the crisp, fruity cider is loved by many across the South West. So with such great synergy between us, Sheppy’s were the perfect fit when we began our search for a local medium strength cider to partner our cask ales. |
During November and December we challenged our drinkers to raise as much money as they could for two charities that are both very close to our heart.
For every firkin of Poppy Otter that we sold in November, and then for every firkin of Otter Claus we sold in December, we would donate £6.80 directly to The Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal...
