The bread has sprung and so has spring!

The sun is out and how good it makes us all feel! Swallows are over head and looking for last years nests, isn't it truly amazing where they have been all this long cold winter.

So today I took two of my horrible grand children, Tom and Charlie, only joking, and we decided to make bread. Soda bread, French sticks and plaits, and malt bread. Not bad for a first effort this year, and by the time lunch was over it had all gone!!

I think if you enjoy cooking the greatest of compliments is for everything to disappear, so well done you two and come and feed us again!
