We think that it is not beyond the realms of possibility that a new era of real ale drinkers is dawning. These drinkers appreciate that beer should be brewed regionally using good local ingredients.

We aim to provide Otter beers for all of these drinkers and look forward to developing new beers when or where we believe there is the demand.

David's Dabbler
We have recently installed a small 2½ barrel plant that has been described as David's sports car substitute. This will allow us to pilot' brew beers to ensure consistency when we are working with ingredients that can change. For example, the floods last summer are bound to have an effect on ingredients in 2008 – with a little work in David's Dabbler we can ensure that our regular brews remain unaffected.

Also, this baby will let us dabble in the unknown and venture into pastures new.
